The shopping street of Saint-Servan is 300 m away, with a small supermarket, a hairdresser, delicatessens, banks and assorted shops. The market is held in Place Bouvet on Tuesday and Friday mornings, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Solidor Tower
300 m away, at the edge of the beach. The fourteenth-century tower guarding the mouth of the Rance. The Sablons, Cité d'Alet and Port Solidor walk (tourist office).
Bas-Sablons beach

The coastal path
The GR34, the old customs officers' path, follows the coast: from the Solidor tower it runs right round the Cité d'Alet — the corniche of the Sablons and Cité d'Alet walk.
The walled city
Intra-muros, 15 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by bicycle. The Sillon beach and Chateaubriand's tomb are the same distance away. Walk the ramparts of the old town and, at low tide, out to the Fort National, the Grand Bé and the Petit Bé.
The Cité d'Alet
On the Saint-Servan peninsula, the historic cradle of Saint-Malo: a walk with a breathtaking view. It is home to the 1939-45 war memorial. The Cité d'Alet trail (tourist office).
The Grand Aquarium
